The Arc sensor provides a standard digital Modbus or 4-20mA signal directly to the PCS which allowed to reduce the upfront costs of a transmitter. Due to the Arc wireless Bluetooth technology the sensors can easily be calibrated at the lab using the ArcAir Application on smartphones or tablets and stored on the shelf prior to the next run if required. The wireless Maintenance tools allow troubleshooting up to 31 sensors at a time without having to enter the production environment. The sensor’s quality indicator as well as errors and warnings and are easily accessible via the ArcAir Application on mobile or tablets.
During the presentation Hamilton will show with several applications how this worked out in practice.
